A Husband’s Common Sense

Published by sonja_g_s at 6:38 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

There isn’t a wife out there who can’t say she has never had to say, ‘I told you so’ to her husband. Maybe it was something small and insignificant, like he forgot to seperate the dark clothes from the whites before washing. It might have been something that created a conflict, such as jumping into an investment after being forewarned. No matter how many times they’re warned before making a mistake, for some reason they do it anyways. What is the explanation to their thinking? It’s quite simple.

Men are made with a built in confidence, pride, and sense of capability when they set their minds to a certain goal. My husband is a very driven man, and when he decides to do something there is no stopping him. This doesn’t at all mean they’re not going to consider their wives’ feelings first; this is where the event begins. Whether it be a good idea or bad, a woman will tell the truth and her honest opinion about it. For some odd reason, as soon as he is about to commit his unwitting deed, the voice of reason sounds in his mind. Deep down there is the voice of his wife telling him that this is going to be a bad choice, and there are some unknowing consequences involved. However, most of the time they still follow through.

To the husbands who’ve had this experience, remember one thing. We don’t blame you, we make plenty of mistakes (none too small either), but when your common sense is telling you not to do something- listen to her.
